Qualifications

Job Description Summary

The Medical Manager is accountable for designing and executing Medical Affairs plans for Solid Tumours (Breast Cancer). This includes providing scientific information, contributing to clinical strategy, and collaborating to develop impactful medical education, evidence generation, and implementation science plans.

Job Details

Location: London Office with Hybrid working (12 days per month in the office).
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer relocation or visa support for this role.

Major accountabilities:

  1. Contribute to clinical strategy during the brand lifecycle and disease area development.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop impactful medical education plans and projects, inspiring, influencing, and educating on the clinical context.
  3. Perform critical appraisal of scientific data and contribute to publication planning.
  4. Support the development of evidence generation plans and assess future needs.
  5. Communicate clinical evidence effectively to stakeholders.
  6. Identify insights relevant to launch readiness and lifecycle maximization, analyze and share them promptly to influence strategy.
  7. Identify HCS stakeholder needs and opportunities for engagement.

Requirements:

  • Medically qualified and GMC registered Physician, Pharmacist, PhD, or Life Science Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of the target disease area and Medical Affairs experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing skills, and customer orientation.
  • Knowledge of drug development and the UK Healthcare System.
  • Ability to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively in multifunctional teams.
  • Strong understanding of the ABPI code.
