Job summary

DXC Technology is hiring a Systems Team Lead for Farnborough, onsite 5 days a week. The role owns the end-to-end V&V strategy for the systems engineering function, ensuring validated, compliant, and ready-to-deliver systems across disciplines.

You will lead planning, execution, and governance of testing activities, drive continuous improvement, and manage cross-team collaboration to meet programme milestones and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading system verification, validation, integration, or testing activities within a complex engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
• Experience developing and executing verification and validation strategies.
• Knowledge of requirements management and traceability processes.
• Experience managing test programmes, defect resolution, and technical risk.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into robust test plans and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and continually improve the system-level verification and validation strategy.
• Lead test planning, specifications, and test cases across engineering teams.
• Coordinate integration, functional, performance, environmental, safety, and acceptance testing approaches.
• Oversee execution of system integration and validation activities.
• Manage defect identification, investigation, and resolution.
• Maintain complete traceability between requirements, test cases, test results, and evidence.
• Provide program readiness reporting to senior leadership and governance boards.
