This is an exciting opportunity for a Systems Modelling Engineer to work within the Raytheon Assured Position Navigation and Timing (APNT) Engineering team, part of the wider Systems & Products business unit, to produce Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.
Main Duties:
The role will provide support to the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leaders with the development and management of project requirements, generation of technical documentation, systems analysis and design work, and participation in technical design reviews. Additionally, supporting the Systems Team in generating bid proposal material and submitting bids in response to customer requests.
Primary responsibilities include modeling in Simulink and MATLAB using model-based design techniques, producing parts of a complex model, implementing algorithms within the model, generating and verifying auto-code, conducting performance assessments, and documenting the model.
The role involves working in a highly technical environment, supporting the team as well as working autonomously. Laboratory work for product testing will be involved. The candidate must be comfortable with integrating into a large team to accomplish goals and solving complex challenges following company processes in a timely manner.
