Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Ampthill, UK, is looking for a Systems Engineer to contribute to a large-scale programme on-site. You will be involved in the system lifecycle, modelling and simulation, verification and validation, and the creation of V&A statements within a Defence-standards framework.

The role requires eligibility for a high level UK security clearance. The pay rate is up to £75 p/h Inside IR35 (DOE), reflecting seniority and programme complexity.

Qualifications

• Experience of systems engineering lifecycle through a large-scale programme.
• Modeling and simulation experience using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in Verification and Validation lifecycle.
• Ability to develop Verification & Acceptance statements.
• Knowledge of communications and RF network architectures.
• Experience with change proposals and embodiment.
• Familiar with Def-Stan, MIL-STD and industry practices.
• Understanding of system-level limitations and behaviours.

Systems Engineer

Location: Ampthill
Pay: Up to£75p/h Inside IR35 (DOE)

Experience required

• Experience of systems engineering lifecycle through the life of a large-scale systems development programme, ideally in the Command & Control domain.
• Experience of modelling and simulation (MATLAB/Simulink).
• Experience in the Verification and Validation lifecycle.
• Development of Verification & Acceptance (V&A) statements.
• Knowledge of Comms & RF Network Architectures.
• Change proposal assessment and embodiment.
• Working understanding of relevant Def-Stan, MIL-STD, and industry best practice.
• Understand nuances of system limitations and behaviours at system level.
