Job summary

Matchtech are seeking a Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract in Wimborne, offering £78.30ph inside IR35. Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering within the defence, security or other highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of MBSE and systems engineering processes.
• Experience in requirements capture and management.
• Knowledge of systems architecture, modelling and design.
• Understanding of the V-model and progression to V&V.
• Experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with SysML, UML or IBM Rhapsody is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.

Our client in the defence and security sector is seeking a Systems Engineer for an initial 12-month contract based in Wimborne. The role focuses on front-end systems engineering across the left-hand side of the V-model, including requirements capture, systems architecture, modelling and design, with progression through to Verification and Validation (V&V).

Job Requirements

Contract Details

• Initial 12-month contract
• Based in Wimborne, with a preference for three days onsite per week
• Fully remote working may be considered, with occasional onsite attendance for those meeting the technical requirements
• BPSS clearance is required
• One-stage interview process conducted via Microsoft Teams
