Airbus Defence and Space Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a Systems Engineer to develop and deploy SDR solutions, bridging clients and hardware/software teams. You will contribute to RF technologies, from requirements gathering to final delivery, in a hybrid working environment.

The role emphasizes systems-level thinking, RF chain performance, and real-time communications protocols, with collaboration across engineering disciplines.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with SDR platforms from requirements to delivery.
• Strong understanding of RF or SATCOM systems and digital communications theory.
• Proficient in scripting and programming (Python, C++, or embedded C).
• Experience with system-level requirements, integration and validation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage fast-paced projects.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with domain experts and customers to define user requirements for SDR-based platforms.
• Integrate and validate RF front-ends, FPGAs, and real-time software stacks.
• Conduct performance analyses and trade studies for modulation, coding, protocols.
• Contribute to development and deployment of SDR solutions from concept to delivery.
• Support cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, mission-critical systems.
