Job summary

Techcare is seeking engineers to join our Managed Services team in Rugeley. You’ll be a trusted technical advisor, working hands-on across technical support, systems administration, and information security, supporting day-to-day operations and longer-term improvements.

You’ll own resolving tickets within SLA, maintaining healthy client systems, writing knowledge base articles, reviewing service performance, and helping improve internal ISO-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• Experience resolving incidents and service requests within ITIL-aligned processes.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 identity & access management.
• Completing joiners, movers & leavers within SLA.
• Hands-on PSA and RMM experience (ConnectWise, N-able or similar).
• Microsoft 365 security, governance and threat protection knowledge.
• Experience supporting network security and firewalls (WatchGuard).
• Familiarity with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiency.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Resolve tickets within SLA from first contact to fix.
• Maintain client systems with proactive monitoring, backups, and audits of assets.
• Write fixes as knowledge base articles and keep documentation accurate.
• Review service performance with the Service Desk Manager and stay current on products.
• Help improve internal processes in line with ISO standards.
