Job summary

CT19 in Sheffield is seeking a hands-on Hardware / Systems Engineer to design, build and automate the experimental and engineering systems that underpin their technology.

This broad role sits across mechanical design, automation, controls, fluid handling, instrumentation and software, with responsibilities ranging from test rigs and fixtures to integrating pumps, sensors and motion systems and writing control software for an automated platform.

Qualifications

• Experience with bespoke machinery or R&D equipment
• Mechanical design/CAD using SolidWorks or similar
• Take hardware from concept through prototype, test & validation
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, motion control, pneumatics or fluids
• Embedded controls or equipment software experience

Responsibilities
