Job summary

ITI Group is seeking a Systems Engineer in Sheffield to design, develop, integrate, and test complex engineering systems for diverse clients. You’ll work across the project lifecycle with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements and deliver projects on time and within budget.

You’ll apply technical expertise and problem‑solving to ensure high standards in system delivery, while developing knowledge across software, hardware, and project management disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a relevant qualification or 4 years’ experience in systems engineering or equivalent role.
• Good understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with SCADA, PLC and HMI packages and system integration processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures, designs, and detailed specifications to meet client requirements.
• Integrate subsystems and components to form cohesive systems with performance.
• Execute system testing and validation to verify designs meet criteria.
• Prepare technical documentation including requirements, design specs, test plans and manuals.
• Engage with project teams to resolve technical issues and support client sites.
