Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development, integration and verification of Electrical Power Distribution Systems in a highly regulated environment. Initial focus includes early lifecycle activities and requirements capture.

You will work across diverse teams to define architectures, develop test procedures, and manage traceability and baselines throughout the program lifecycle, with on-site collaboration in Cheltenham.

Qualifications

• Experience in development and/or verification within complex systems.
• Strong grasp of systems engineering lifecycle and requirements.
• Experience with requirements management and architecture.
• Knowledge of verification and validation processes.
• Background in aerospace/defense/automotive is advantageous.

The Role

We're seeking Systems Engineers to support the development, integration, and verification of Electrical Power Distribution Systems within a highly regulated engineering environment.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in early lifecycle systems engineering, including requirements capture, system architecture, and concept development.

Essential Skills

• Systems engineering experience across development and/or verification activities.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements management and system architecture.
• Knowledge of verification and validation processes.
• Experience in complex engineering environments (aerospace, defence, automotive, etc.).

Desirable Skills

• Electrical Power Distribution Systems knowledge.
• MATLAB/Simulink modelling for prototyping and concept development.
• Closed-loop control systems experience.
• Knowledge of ARP4754A or similar standards.
• Agile/Kanban experience.
