Job summary

Copello are partnering with an exciting defence and cyber organisation developing advanced secure systems that protect lives and enable critical missions. We are speaking with Systems Engineers from mid-level through to senior/principal level who are looking for their next challenge in a highly technical environment.

You will work on complex defence, cyber, cryptographic and secure communications systems, taking ownership, developing your expertise and progressing your career while mentoring

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements and lifecycle development for complex systems.
• Proficiency with V-model/structured Systems Engineering.
• Experience in defence, aerospace, cyber or secure tech environments.

Responsibilities

We're currently looking to speak with Systems Engineers from mid-level through to senior/principal level who are looking for their next challenge.

You'll be joining a highly technical environment working on complex defence, cyber, cryptographic and secure communications systems, with opportunities to take ownership, develop your expertise and progress your career.

What you could be working on:

• Systems Engineering across the full lifecycle and V-model.
• Requirements capture, management and validation.
• System architecture, design and integration.
• Verification, validation, testing and IVVQ.
• Systems engineering documentation and technical assurance.
• Supporting technical reviews and design assurance.
• Working with customers, suppliers and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring as you progress.

Who we're looking for

We're interested in speaking with Systems Engineers at a range of levels, particularly those with experience in:

• Requirements & systems lifecycle development
• V-model / structured Systems Engineering
• Complex, regulated or safety-critical environments
• Defence, aerospace, cyber or secure technology
• DOORS, SysML, UML or Enterprise Architect
• Integration, verification and validation

For senior/principal-level opportunities, experience leading technical activities or mentoring engineers would be highly advantageous.

A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related STEM discipline is preferred, alongside relevant industry experience.
