Job summary

Copello Global is seeking Systems Engineers from mid-level through to Senior/Principal level for a Berkshire-based permanent role. You will work on complex defence, cyber, cryptographic, and secure communications systems, taking ownership, developing expertise and progressing your career.

The role includes exposure to full lifecycle activities, from requirements capture to integration and IVVQ, with opportunities to lead technical activities and mentor engineers in a highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related STEM discipline preferred.
• Experience across defence, cyber, or secure technology domains beneficial.
• Experience with regulated environments and safety-critical systems advantageous.

We’re currently looking to speak with Systems Engineers from mid-level through to senior/principal level who are looking for their next challenge.

You’ll be joining a highly technical environment working on complex defence, cyber, cryptographic and secure communications systems, with opportunities to take ownership, develop your expertise and progress your career.

What you could be working on:

• Systems Engineering across the full lifecycle and V-model.
• Requirements capture, management and validation.
• System architecture, design and integration.
• Verification, validation, testing and IVVQ.
• Systems engineering documentation and technical assurance.
• Supporting technical reviews and design assurance.
• Working with customers, suppliers and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring as you progress.

We’re interested in speaking with Systems Engineers at a range of levels, particularly those with experience in:

• V-model / structured Systems Engineering
• Complex, regulated or safety-critical environments
• Defence, aerospace, cyber or secure technology
• DOORS, SysML, UML or Enterprise Architect
• Integration, verification and validation

For senior/principal-level opportunities, experience leading technical activities or mentoring engineers would be highly advantageous.

A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related STEM discipline is preferred, alongside relevant industry experience.
