About Us:
An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Systems Engineer to join a highly collaborative team working on a prestigious air-launched weapon development programme. The team is responsible for developing and certifying missile systems to challenging timescales using an iterative Model-Based Systems Engineering approach.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Systems Design Engineer?
In this role, you will be pivotal in analysing requirements and use cases, designing and justifying system architecture, and ensuring thorough traceability. You will create and manage functional models using SysML or similar languages to define various diagrams, including activity, sequence, state, and block diagrams.
You will also be responsible for defining system interfaces and coordinating the software integration points for the missile across functional strands. Additionally, you will contribute to project status reporting, verification planning, maintenance of project requirements, and addressing non-compliance issues.
