Job summary

Recruitment Direct is seeking an experienced Systems & Compliance Manager in Evesham. This full-time role covers multiple sites across Worcestershire/Herefordshire, driving quality, compliance and product safety standards while working with operational and management teams to push continuous improvement.

The role focuses on developing the QMS, leading audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering training to embed best practices across sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quality, compliance or technical role within manufacturing, packaging, food production or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of Quality Management Systems.
• Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification.
• HACCP qualification and a strong understanding of risk management.
• Experience working with recognised standards such as BRC, FSC, ISCC+ or AIB.
• Experience of internal and external audit processes.
• Strong understanding of product safety, traceability and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to work across all levels of an organisation.
• Proactive and organised approach with a genuine focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites and functions.
• Practical and commercially aware approach to quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the company's Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Lead internal audits, GMP audits and support external certification audits.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with recognised industry standards and customer requirements.
• Plan and facilitate HACCP reviews, risk assessments and mock recall exercises.
• Lead product safety initiatives and promote a positive compliance culture across the business.
• Support supplier approval and monitoring processes.
• Manage customer compliance activities, traceability exercises and compliance reporting.
• Provide expert quality, regulatory and compliance guidance to operational and management teams.
• Deliver training and coaching to support consistent standards and operational excellence.
• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and embed best practice across multiple sites.

We are working with a growing manufacturing business based in Evesham for an experienced Systems & Compliance Manager on a full-time permanent basis. This is a multi-site role with responsibility for maintaining and developing quality, compliance and product safety standards across the business, working closely with operational and management teams to drive continuous improvement

• Permanent, full-time position - Monday - Friday office hours
