Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for a growing fresh food producer in Evesham to hire a Quality & Compliance Technologist.

You will support quality systems, drive food safety standards, and ensure site-wide compliance with production and customers. Duties include internal audits, assisting with external audits, shelf-life studies, CCP monitoring, and maintaining specifications and documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
• Experience in high-care food production settings is desirable.
• HACCP qualification is essential.
• Good understanding of BRC, food safety, quality systems and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and continual improvement of Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with BRC, retailer standards, customer requirements and third-party accreditation schemes.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits, customer visits and certification activities.
• Carry out product shelf-life studies, validation activities and microbiological testing programmes.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer complaint investigations and trend analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Generate and maintain product specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitor CCPs and food safety systems.
• Carry out hygiene, GMP and factory fabric inspections, maintaining high standards.
• Assist with training and rollout of new procedures.

Are you a Quality or Compliance professional looking to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business?

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful fresh food producer based in Evesham. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Compliance Technologist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in maintaining and developing food safety, quality, and compliance standards across the site.

Working closely with both the Technical and Operations teams, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of compliance, quality systems, auditing, continuous improvement, and customer requirements. This is a varied role that offers plenty of exposure across the business and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with BRC, retailer standards, customer requirements, and third-party accreditation schemes.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits, customer visits, and certification activities.
• Carry out product shelf-life studies, validation activities, and microbiological testing programmes.
• Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer complaint investigations and trend analysis to drive continuous improvement.

• Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and food safety systems.
• Carry out hygiene, GMP, and factory fabric inspections, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the site.
• Support training activities, maintain training records, and assist with the rollout of new procedures.
• Work closely with production, hygiene, and operational teams to drive compliance and food safety excellence.

• HACCP qualification.
