Job summary

FryerMiles is partnering with an international business to recruit an SAP Systems Support Accountant to roll out SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across its group. You will join a cross-functional team with Finance and IT to shape how finance uses SAP, guiding data migration, testing and training.

Responsibilities include preparing data for migration, validating mappings, performing tests, and developing reports and training materials to support go-live and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and preferably in finance transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and reporting.
• Experience with data migration, testing and user training.
• Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
• Analytical problem-solver with clear communication to finance and IT colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing and scenario-based finance process testing.

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential to become permanent

FryerMiles is partnering with an international business to recruit an SAP Systems Support Accountant to support the rollout of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across its group.

This is an opportunity to combine your finance knowledge with practical systems work, helping shape how finance teams use SAP. Working closely with Finance, IT and external implementation partners, you’ll support data migration, testing, training and process improvements throughout implementation and into ongoing support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across multiple entities.
• Preparing, cleansing and validating finance data for migration, including chart of accounts mapping.
• Carrying out system testing, user acceptance testing and scenario-based finance process testing.
• Supporting finance process configuration, localisation, workflows and system integrations.
• Developing finance reports, process documentation and user training materials.
• Providing user support through deployment, go-live and post-implementation stabilisation.
• Helping resolve system issues and strengthen financial controls, access management and segregation of duties.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and the transition to ongoing finance systems support.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, ideally within an implementation or finance transformation project.
• An ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or progress towards one. Candidates with a strong finance systems background will also be considered.
• A sound understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting system testing, data migration and user training.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large datasets.
• An analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate clearly with finance and technology colleagues.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience would be particularly valuable. SQL or data-querying skills, multinational finance experience and knowledge of SAP security and access management would also be advantageous.
