Job summary

Air Charter Service is embarking on a significant SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation. The SAP Systems Accountant will lead rollout activities, data migration, and finance process configuration across the group.

You will work with Finance and IT, perform UAT, and develop finance reports and training materials, while engaging with senior stakeholders to improve global finance operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on SAP S/4HANA implementation, transformation or migration programmes.
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting data migration, testing, system configuration and user training.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and reconcile large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Technology and project teams.
• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience.
• Experience designing workflows and business processes.
• Experience with reporting tools, SQL or data-querying experience.
• Experience supporting multinational finance operations.
• Understanding of SAP security, user roles and access management.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across multiple group entities.
• Assist with data gathering, cleansing, validation, and migration activities.
• Support the configuration and localisation of finance processes within SAP.
• Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and scenario-based process testing.
• Assist with chart of accounts mapping, financial workflows, and system integrations.
• Support the development of finance reports, process documentation, and training materials.
• Provide user support during deployment, go-live, and post-implementation stabilisation.
• Work closely with Finance, IT, and external implementation partners to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Assist in the development of controls, security access, and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the transition to business-as-usual system support

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant or finance systems professional who has been involved in SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programmes and is looking to broaden their experience in a fast-paced, global environment.

Job Description

As a key member of the accounts transformation team, duties will include but are not limited to:

• Support the implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across multiple group entities.
