Job summary

West London NHS Trust is seeking a CAMHS Social Worker with experience working with children and adolescents with mental health difficulties. The post focuses on ED pathway and meal support, with supervision and opportunities for CPD in a fast-paced CAMHS Eating Disorders team.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide individual and group interventions, and carry out outreach to patients who cannot attend clinics.

Qualifications

• Social worker with CAMHS experience in child/adolescent mental health.
• Ability to assess risk and develop intervention plans.
• Experience with multi-agency working (education, social services).

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous clinical assessments and specialist interventions for young people.
• Deliver individual and group interventions within the CAMHS Eating Disorders pathway.
• Carry out outreach work for patients who cannot attend clinics and in-reach to Tier 4 services.
• Collaborate with education, social services and other agencies; contribute to CPD and supervision.
• Support development and maintenance of professional standards and participate in CAMHS governance.
