Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Test & Validation Technician to join the production team. The role focuses on hands-on testing, inspection and verification of assembled units against engineering specs and customer requirements.

You will work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to perform FAT, diagnostics and ensure quality gates are met before delivery. The position offers exposure to mechanical, electrical and integrated systems testing, with opportunities for development

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or testing environments.
• Hands-on testing of mechanical, electrical or integrated systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with FAT, test equipment and analysing results.
• Understanding of NCRs and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning and readiness in line with production schedules and milestones.
• Review and contribute to test plans, procedures and work instructions.
• Carry out system-level and final acceptance testing on assembled units.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and integrated system testing.
• Conduct inspections, fault finding and diagnostics; report issues clearly.
• Identify, raise and support resolution of NCRs.
• Ensure products meet defined quality gates before delivery.
• Maintain test records, reports and calibration documentation.
• Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment; support shift-based testing.
