Overview

Our client is seeking a Systems and Standards Support Manager to support the Operations Planning Governance and Change Department. This department plays a critical role in managing the strategy, development, and maintenance of Resource Planning and Delivery Systems across key operational areas, ensuring their reliability, compliance, and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within the Systems and Standards portfolio
  • Guide team members, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with standards for system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Provide end-user support and perform root cause analysis for system incidents
  • Coordinate with IT teams and partners to identify and implement improvements
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and documentation
  • Maintain secure, compliant processes and ensure regulatory standards are met
  • Monitor system performance and user satisfaction metrics
  • Lead and coordinate system-related projects for Operational Planning
  • Test new functionality before deployment and stay informed on relevant technologies

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for system support within complex operational environments
  • Ability to assess business needs and deliver effective system recommendations
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management capabilities
  • Commitment to data governance, system security, and agile delivery principles
  • Comfortable handling and interpreting data for insightful reporting
  • Organised, methodical, and results-driven with an engaging and collaborative approach

Experience and Skills Required

  • Proven track record in delivering IT projects on time and within budget
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, governance models, and KITC standards
  • Proficiency in project management and analytical techniques
  • Experience in resource planning and operational delivery (desirable)
