Internal Systems Manager

Location – Hemel Hempstead

On – Site Requirements – 5 days P/W

The Opportunity:

Join a pioneering SaaS company as an Internal Systems Manager. This company has grown from a local startup to a global leader in just over three decades, with 300+ employees worldwide and over 1,700 customers. They are experiencing significant growth and have recently launched a new SaaS platform. This role offers the chance to revolutionise internal systems, ideal for infrastructure and systems professionals who thrive on challenge and innovation.

The Role:

The Internal Systems Manager will oversee, modernise, and optimise the company's core IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include leading new technology implementations, ensuring system reliability and scalability, and driving digital transformation initiatives.

• Manage infrastructure across hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud)
• Administer Windows and/or Linux systems
• Maintain networking protocols and technologies (DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
• Utilise scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible)
• Support and troubleshoot end-user hardware (laptops, tablets, mobile devices)
• Work with virtualisation platforms like VMWare or Hyper-V
• Administer cloud environments (Azure, O365, AWS)
• Deliver infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration
