MBDA UK is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join the RF Seekers Team. You will develop seeker solutions from complex requirements, contributing to RF and missile technologies in a dynamic, hybrid-work environment.
The role covers the Systems Engineering V model, negotiating requirements through to verification, with opportunities to travel within the UK and abroad to MBDA sites and trials.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our RF Seekers Team. This is a phenomenal opportunity to be part of a successful team working at the forefront of technology, developing new and innovative seeker solutions from complex requirements.
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 4 to 5 days per week on site Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The Systems Design team is critical to the product development process, transforming customer requirements into lower level system architectures (Physical and Functional) and system requirements. The role covers the majority of the Systems Engineering V model, negotiating requirements with the missile systems customer through to the verification and validation process; you will gain a detailed understanding of RF Seeker design as well as building experience working with capable teams across all development activities. You will be part of a close-knit, hardworking, and highly motivated team striving to develop one of the world's most advanced Seeker and Missile technologies. You will play a crucial role in this innovative development, witnessing the impact of your dedication and effort as the product is effectively deployed for use by the armed forces. There will be opportunities for travel both within the UK and internationally to other MBDA sites and trial locations.
