Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Software Development Engineer to lead the software development of new robotic products to integrate into our Delivery Station of the future. The successful candidate will be a member of the Amazon Logistics Innovation Engineering team and will be responsible for strategizing, defining, and managing the software development of robotics technologies for the AMZL Delivery Stations.
This role requires experienced and entrepreneurial-minded individuals with combined robotics, engineering, planning, and analytical skills. This individual will directly influence the Amazon last mile automation roadmap by partnering with Robotics, SW Tech Teams, Process Engineering teams, Operations, Facilities, and Engineering teams to improve our final customer shopping experience.
As a Sys Dev Engineer, you will be part of a team working on complex mechatronics products. The key skills required are:
You will develop and improve software for AMZL, working with Product owners and System Developers to define and develop software structures for new concepts involving automation and robotics technology. You will analyze new vendor technologies and integrate them into the AMZL Software Architecture, testing and commissioning the developed software on machines in Innovation Centers worldwide and operational sites.
