Job summary

Mactech Energy Group is seeking a System Design Stability Data Engineer to support the HPC Project within the Plant Configuration Function of the NNB Technical Directorate. You will ensure design compliance with UK regulations and contribute to data-centric decision making.

The role involves developing PowerBI dashboards from a Databricks conformed data model, SQL and Python for Databricks, and coordinating with IT, IIM and IDA stakeholders to align business requirements with reporting outputs.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant science or engineering subject or strong technical background preferred.
  • Experience within Nuclear Industry useful but not mandatory.
  • Database management and coding skills.
  • Understanding of quality arrangements required and associated with nuclear plant construction preferred.
  • Proficient project management, organisational and Coordination skills.
  • Great communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Decision making and escalation ability for resolution of issues.
  • Knowledge of budget and schedule management preferred.
