Job summary

EDF HPC in the UK is seeking a System Design Stability Data Engineer to provide high-quality engineering support for the HPC Project, ensuring designs comply with UK regulations and project constraints.

You will develop data models, create Databricks-based dashboards with PowerBI, and work closely with IT and stakeholder teams to deliver data-driven insights for system design stability.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant science or engineering subject or strong technical background preferred.
• Experience in software development, data engineering and data visualisation is essential.
• Database management and coding skills are required.
• Understanding of quality arrangements in nuclear plant construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data model development for change control branch.
• Develop PowerBI dashboards drawing on a databricks conformed data model.
• Align business requirements, logic in data model and reporting outputs.
• Interface with wider IT, IIM, IDA stakeholders.
• Support upskilling of team and adoption of more data-centric ways of working.
• Databricks development in SQL and Python.
