Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Syndicate Reporting Accountant to support financial and regulatory reporting within a Lloyd’s Managing Agency. The ideal candidate will have a qualification as an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with a strong understanding of Lloyd’s syndicate reporting. This hands-on role offers a competitive salary of £70,000-£80,000, bonuses, and benefits. You will work with management accounts and regulatory requirements, providing important analysis and report generation for a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• 2-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Lloyd’s regulatory returns.
• Produce US regulatory reporting.
• Prepare syndicate management accounts.
• Support production of management information.
• Deliver ongoing analysis and commentary.
• Contribute to the improvement of reporting systems.
• Liaise with syndicate teams, auditors, and actuaries.
• Support ad-hoc finance projects.

Job description

We are recruiting for a Syndicate Reporting Accountant to support financial and regulatory reporting within a Lloyd's Managing Agency. This is a hands‑on role with exposure across Lloyd’s and US regulatory requirements, management accounts and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Lloyd’s regulatory returns, including Annual and Quarterly filings
• Produce US regulatory reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual syndicate management accounts
• Support the production of annual report and accounts, management information and financial schedules
• Deliver ongoing management information, analysis and commentary
• Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting systems and processes
• Liaise with syndicate teams, auditors and actuaries
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects as required

Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong understanding of Lloyd’s syndicate reporting (QMA/QMB) and regulatory requirements
• Experience with US regulatory reporting and Solvency II
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Vision and Sun Accounts desirable
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and comfortable working to regulatory deadlines
