Job summary

Places for People is seeking a dedicated Swimming Coordinator to lead the swim programme, schedule 1:1 lessons, and coordinate school swim activities. You will oversee Swim Instructors, ensuring high-quality coaching while delivering excellent customer service to pool users.

The role requires prior management experience and a commercial mindset, ideally within swimming, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience and a commercial background, ideally in swimming.
• Commitment to ongoing Continuous Personal Development (attending at least 2 courses/workshops per year).
• Good working knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway and a passion for swimming.

Responsibilities

• Manage the swim programme and schedule 1:1 lessons.
• Coordinate school swim programmes and oversee swim teachers.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to pool customers.
• Empower instructors to motivate and instruct pupils toward fitness goals.
