Job summary

Impulse Leisure is seeking a Swimming Instructor to join our aquatics team. You will support the Centre Manager to maintain a safe, welcoming environment and deliver high-quality swimming instruction.

Ideally you hold a nationally recognised qualification such as ASA/Swim England Level 2 or equivalent STA Baby Preschool qualifications, and you will be able to supervise and develop the Aquatics Swimming Programme while ensuring safety and good behaviour in class.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nationally recognised Level 2 swimming qualification.
• Baby/preschool swimming qualification or STA equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and development of the Aquatics Swimming Programme.
• Overseeing safety and behaviour of the class to prevent injury and damage.

JOB OUTLINE:

To effectively assist the Centre Manager to maintain quality service to ensure a consistently safe and pleasant environment for both customers and staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 1. The supervision and development of the Aquatics Swimming Programme
• 2. The overseeing and general safety and behaviour of the class to prevent injury,
• misuse and damage to themselves or the facilities.

The successful candidates must hold a nationally recognised qualification for instructioni.e. ASA/Swim England Level 2, Baby Preschool Swimming Teaching (or equivalent STA Baby Preschool/Award/Certificate)
