Job summary

Haulfryn is seeking a qualified Swimming Instructor to join our team at Devon Hills Holiday Park. You’ll teach and coach swimmers of all ages, delivering one-to-one or group lessons and helping learners progress through stages while maintaining a safe, welcoming poolside environment.

Role is seasonal, part-time with variable hours. Level 1 Swim Qualification is essential, Level 2 desirable, and a DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Level 1 Swim Qualification is essential.
• Level 2 Swim Qualification is desirable.
• Experience working with young children and engaging both children and parents is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, proactive teaching approach are important.
• DBS check is required and eligibility to live/work in the UK is expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach swimmers of all ages, building water confidence and progress through stages.
• Deliver one-to-one or group lessons, tailoring instruction to individual needs.
• Motivate children to enjoy lessons and reach key milestones.
• Work in line with ASA (or equivalent) standards to maintain high-quality teaching.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of swim equipment and poolside environment.
• Liaise with parents to update on progress and achievements.

What You’ll Do
