Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Swim Teacher to deliver high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages, helping them build confidence in the water. You’ll contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment and support lifeguarding duties between lessons.

Role requires Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification and NPLQ or equivalent, with strong communication and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Hours up to 31 per week, on-site at our leisure centre in Compton.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification required.
• NPLQ or equivalent lifeguard qualification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children and their parents/guardians.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons to children and adults in line with the centre's programme.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about development.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment.
• Assist with poolside supervision and safety practices.
• Undertake lifeguarding duties as required.
