Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Swim Teacher to deliver high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages at our leisure centre. You will help learners build confidence in the water and work within a safe, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities include teaching sessions, monitoring progress, and assisting with administrative tasks. A Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification required.
• NPLQ or equivalent required.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons to children and adults in line with the centre's programme.
• Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about children's development.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with supervision of customers around the pool and ensure pool safety rules.
• Undertake lifeguarding duties as required.
• Support the administration team with office tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
