Freedom Leisure invites applications for a Swim Teacher at King Alfred Leisure Centre. Casual hours, as needed, teaching swimming to members of all ages and abilities with support and guidance provided.

You will work with a supportive team, deliver lessons per qualification and training, and contribute to a welcoming, safe environment. DBS check and Level 2 teaching qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Able to teach swimming to children and adults
• Communication with parents/guardians about progress
• Ensure safety and supervision around pool area

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to children and/or adults per programme
• Communicate with parents/guardians about development
• Supervise customers in the pool and surrounds
• Demonstrate high professionalism and enthusiasm
• Maintain safety and discipline around pool area
