Vogue Sourcing UK is seeking an Assistant Designer to join our Non-Clothing team in Manchester. You will support senior designers on concepts, fabrics, and seasonal themes, while coordinating with factories and overseas offices to keep production on track.

The role requires a fashion degree (2:1) or equivalent, 2+ years in Swimwear and Lingerie, and proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop is desirable. A collaborative team player with strong communication is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Fashion or related field (2:1) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Swimwear and Lingerie experience.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and/or Photoshop is desirable.
• Strong eye for colour and fabric; trend-aware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willing to travel.

Aufgaben

• Support designers and design manager in developing concepts, fabrics, and seasonal themes.
• Source fabrics to meet design requirements.
• Create specs and tech packs for factories.
• Track key dates and manage critical path timelines.
• Liaise with factories and overseas offices to keep production on schedule.
• Build relationships with customers, mills, and overseas colleagues.
• Assist on inspiration and sourcing trips; develop trend and colour packs.
• Manage sample returns and provide general team admin support.
• Provide clear feedback on new samples and follow up with customers.
• Contribute to the wider design team as needed.
