Job summary

Nuffield Health in Sheffield is seeking a part‑time Swim Instructor to deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons in our pool facilities. You’ll work on a bank/ad‑hoc basis with flexible hours, teaching one‑to‑one or small groups to help customers reach their swimming goals.

Qualified to ASA/Swim England Level 2 with strong people skills, you’ll bring a passion for swimming and an ability to adapt to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Passion for swimming and helping others improve

Responsibilities

• Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals
• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes
• Be a positive, engaging role model and tailor teaching to individual needs
• Promote memberships by explaining facility advantages
• Support team to achieve lesson targets and improve performance

Swim Instructor Sheffield FWC | Pool | Bank | Part Time | Up to £19 per hour depending on experience plus benefits Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you’ll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:
