Job summary

Nuffield Health in Guildford is seeking a Swim Instructor to provide safe, effective lessons on a bank basis at our pool facility.

You will run one-to-one and group sessions, inspiring swimmers of all ages while promoting our gym memberships and services. A Level 2 qualification and a passion for swimming are essential for success.

Qualifications

• ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
• Excellent people skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for swimming.

Responsibilities

• Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals.
• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes.
• Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach.
• Support learners to develop techniques and confidence.
• Promote memberships by explaining facility advantages.

Swim Instructor

Guildford | Pool | Bank | Part Time |

Up to £21 per hour depending on experience plus benefits

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you’ll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:
