Job summary

Nuffield Health Chelmsford Fitness and Wellbeing Centre is seeking a friendly Swim Instructor to deliver safe, engaging lessons and help members reach their swimming goals. This part-time role on the bank provides flexibility to fit around your schedule and offers a supportive team environment.

You’ll hold ASA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2, enjoy working with a diverse group of swimmers, and promote our facilities and memberships while helping people stay active and healthy.

Qualifications

• ASA Level 2 / Swim England Level 2 qualification.
• Confident and approachable with good communication skills.
• Love for swimming and ability to teach swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage and inspire swimmers of all ages to achieve their swimming goals.
• Deliver one-to-one lessons or group classes.
• Be a positive role model with a fun, engaging approach.
• Tailor teaching to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Promote memberships by explaining facility advantages.

Swim Instructor

Chelmsford FWC | Pool | Bank | Part Time | Up to £20 per hour depending on experience plus benefits

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you'll need to have a ASA level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.

As a Swim Instructor you will:
