Job summary

Nuffield Health Edinburgh Omni FWC Pool is seeking a Swim Instructor to deliver safe, effective swimming lessons on a bank (ad-hoc hours).

You should hold SSTQ Level 7, STA, or Swim England Level 2, with strong people skills and a passion for swimming. Deliver one-to-one or group sessions, inspire swimmers of all ages, and promote the benefits of facility memberships.

Qualifications

• Must hold SSTQ Level 7, STA, or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
• Confident, approachable with good communication skills.
• Experience delivering swimming lessons to mixed ages.

Up to £18 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Swim Instructor

As a Swim Instructor at one of our fitness and wellbeing sites, you’ll need to have a SSTQ Level 7, STA, or Swim England Level 2 qualification, together with good people skills and a love for all things swimming. At Nuffield Health we have a variety of swimmers of all ages and abilities and run our lessons through the Swim England framework.

You will gain experience of achieving targets and working with colleagues to improve the performance of your lessons.
