Swim Instructor

Shipley FWC | Pool | Permanent | Part Time

£16.00 per hour depending on experience plus benefits

4 hours per week

As Britain’s largest Healthcare Charity, we’re passionate about helping people find more ways to be fit and healthy. We’re looking for a confident, approachable Swim Instructor with excellent communication skills to provide safe and effective swimming lessons for our customers.

Based at our Shipley fitness and wellbeing site, you’ll need a Swim England Level 2 or equivalent qualification, including Teaching Swimming To Babies And Toddlers. You should have good people skills and a love for swimming. Our lessons follow the Swim England framework and cater to swimmers of all ages and abilities.

You will have opportunities to achieve targets and collaborate with colleagues to enhance lesson performance.

As a Swim Instructor, your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging and inspiring swimmers of all ages to reach their swimming goals

• Helping people learn and develop through every opportunity

• Delivering both one-to-one and group lessons

• Being a positive role model with a fun and engaging approach

• Teaching in a way that meets individual needs
