Job summary

Norwich City Services Limited is seeking a Sweeper Driver (up to 3.5 tonnes) to join the service-driven street cleaning team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will drive and operate a Sub-Compact Sweeper under 3.5t gross vehicle weight to help maintain and improve the standard of the city streets.

The role suits individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work and take pride in keeping local environments clean, contributing to the community, and working as part of a dedicated city services team.

Job description

Responsible for key operational delivery and maintenance of Norwich city's streets, parks and properties by utilising all of the services that our environmental and building repairs teams have to offer.

We locally employ over 300 people with plans of continuous growth, aligned with high aspirations of excellent service delivery. Additionally, we also cater for various private businesses and residents across the city.
