Job summary

Norwich City Services Limited is seeking a Streets Operative Driver to join our service-driven street cleansing team on a 12-month fixed contract in the Norwich area. You will contribute to keeping our public spaces clean and tidy and perform essential outdoor tasks with pride in the local community.

This role focuses on operational delivery and maintenance of Norwich city streets, parks and properties, working with our environmental and building repairs teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to undertake outdoor physical work.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a service-focused environment.

• Maintain streets, parks and properties in the Norwich area as part of cleansing and maintenance operations.
• Support delivery of street cleansing services and related maintenance activities with the environmental and building repairs teams.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Streets Operative Driver to join our service-driven street cleansing maintenance team at Norwich City Services Limited on a 12-month fixed contract. The general focus of this role is to help maintain and improve the standard of the Streets cleansing operation within the Norwich area, ensuring our public spaces are kept clean and tidy. Responsible for key operational delivery and maintenance of Norwich city's streets, parks and properties by utilising all of the services that our environmental and building repairs teams have to offer. We locally employ over 300 people with plans of continuous growth, aligned with high aspirations of excellent service delivery. Additionally, we also cater for various private businesses and residents across the city.
