Glasgow Clyde College is seeking experienced SVQ Assessors specialising in Social Services, Childhood Practice and Playwork. You will assess candidates at SCQF Levels 6 and 7, potentially up to Level 9, and support progress through workplace reassessments and robust documentation.

The role requires strong communication and organisational skills, CPD engagement, and experience in SVQ assessments. This is an on-site, full-time temporary position within the Faculty of Health, Wellbeing and

Qualifications

• HNC (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent is required or an recognised alternative.
• Assessor and Verifier Awards are required.
• A qualification at SCQF Level 9 is desirable and supports progression.

Responsabilités

• Monitor candidate progress and arrange/reassess in the workplace using diverse assessment techniques.
• Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records per College policies and external verification requirements.
• Carry out regular workplace visits to support and assess candidates and engage with employers.
• Contribute to standardisation of assessment evidence for consistency and quality.
• Communicate progress with candidates’ line managers, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
