Job summary

State Street Investment Management seeks a Global Head of Front Office Re‑Engineering, a senior engineering leader responsible for enterprise execution, solution architecture, and modernization of front‑office technology supporting a multi‑trillion global asset manager. Based in London or Boston, the role leads a distributed engineering organization across APAC, North America and EMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 25+ years of asset management tech, front-office engineering, or related experience.
• MBA, Master’s, CFA, PMP, Agile/SAFe, architecture/cloud/AI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own front‑office re‑engineering priorities and translate multi‑year strategy into scalable platforms.
• Drive technology strategy, investments, and delivery outcomes with senior stakeholders.
• Lead solution architecture and design thinking across the investment platform (API-first, event-driven, cloud-native).
• Build a distributed global engineering organization across APAC, North America, and EMEA.
• Lead engineering disciplines for portfolio management, trading, real‑time data, risk, analytics, and AI-enabled delivery.
• Drive adoption of SDLC-led AI capabilities to improve productivity and quality.
• Simplify and scale platforms, reduce fragmented data and automate workflows for AI at scale.
• Provide executive transparency on delivery progress, risks, and funding needs.
