Job summary

Retrofit Project Assistant in Cambridge with hybrid working arrangements. The role supports the delivery of net zero and energy efficiency projects across housing stock, requiring strong administrative and communication skills.

You will assist with planning, documentation, tenant engagement and data reporting, maintaining accurate records and supporting grant applications where needed. A proactive, independent yet collaborative approach is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage information accurately and meet deadlines.
• Confidence communicating with tenants, leaseholders and project stakeholders.
• Good IT skills and experience maintaining databases or preparing reports.
• Proactive, able to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in retrofit, energy efficiency, sustainability or housing projects.

Responsibilities

• Support project officers and managers through briefing, development, planning, procurement and delivery stages.
• Assist in preparing project specifications, documentation and tender submissions.
• Support tenant engagement, including letters, flyers, surveys and home visits.
• Assist with planning and Building Regulations applications.
• Prepare monthly reporting data and support project monitoring.
