Job summary

Mulberry is seeking a organized Purchasing Assistant to join our Sourcing team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract in the UK. You will support UK factories, order and track raw materials and production consumables, and ensure timely delivery while coordinating with Planning, Costing and Finance.

The role requires experience in purchasing, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Hybrid working is offered along with generous benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a purchasing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue purchase orders for UK production raw materials.
• Expedite orders and flag delays to planning and sourcing teams.
• Maintain weekly change dates in the system.
• Reconcile goods received with GRNs and assist with invoice queries.
• Collaborate with production planning to limit material delays.
• Support costing teams on UK BOM updates and reporting.
• Review production consumables stock weekly to meet forward requirements.
• Assist in stock-takes of raw materials twice yearly.
