Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd in Solihull, Birmingham is seeking an MEP BIM Engineer to develop and coordinate fully coordinated MEP models using Revit and Navisworks, ensuring clash-free, buildable solutions with design and fabrication teams.

You will lead model coordination workshops, manage CDE, produce LOD500 models for offsite fabrication, and contribute to decarbonisation goals through BIM data and sustainable material choices.

Qualifications

• Strong background in MEP BIM for coordinated design and clash-free solutions.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (design, fabrication, site).
• Knowledge of decarbonisation, lean construction and BIM data usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage fully coordinated MEP models using Revit/Navisworks.
• Lead model coordination workshops with consultants and partners.
• Manage CDE, version control, and data history through the project lifecycle.
• Produce as-built, fabrication-ready models and construction packs.
