Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector

An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is growing its platform through acquisitions and has an opportunity for an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.

You will be self-driven and commercial, with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and the ability to build relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector, through detailed knowledge of its current landscape.

You should apply for this role if you have:

• 8+ years in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation, or similar
• Demonstrable proactivity in deal origination and acquisition execution
• Strong understanding of the environmental/ecology sector
• Acquisition experience in the small/medium-sized business market segment preferred
• Degree educated or higher

This is a salary role of £80,000-£90,000 with a total compensation of around £150,000 plus equity. It is a fully remote position, but UK-wide travel will be required to meet clients and prospects.
