Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector

An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is growing its platform through acquisition and has an opportunity for an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.

You will be self-driven and commercial, with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and building relationships within the ecology/sustainability sector, through a detailed knowledge of its current landscape.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

1. 8+ years in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation or similar
2. Proactive in deal origination and acquisition execution
3. Strong understanding of the environmental/ecology sector
4. Acquisition experience in the small/medium-sized business market segment preferred
5. Degree educated or higher

This is a salary role with £80,000-£90,000, total compensation around £150,000 plus equity. The role is fully remote, with UK-wide travel required to meet clients and prospects.
