Sustainable Finance – Programmatic Acquisition Specialist – Environment Sector

An early-stage PE-backed business in the environmental sector is expanding its platform through acquisitions and is seeking an Origination Lead to drive the acquisition of UK-based smaller companies in the environment and ecology space.

You will be self-driven and commercially minded, with strong experience in value creation, overseeing due diligence processes, and building relationships within the ecology and sustainability sector through a detailed knowledge of its current landscape.

Ideal candidates should have:

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, acquisitions, value creation, or related fields
• Proven proactivity in deal origination and acquisition execution
• Strong understanding of the environmental and ecology sectors
• Experience in acquiring small to medium-sized businesses (preferred)
• Degree or higher education

This role offers a salary of £80,000-£90,000, with a total compensation of approximately £150,000 plus equity. The position is fully remote within the UK, with travel required to meet clients and prospects.
