Hoare Lea, a forward‑looking engineering consultancy, is looking for an Electrical Engineer to deliver sustainable electrical systems across science, healthcare, education, and commercial projects from the Oxford office.

You will take briefs, produce calculations and drawings, and coordinate with clients, contractors and other consultants. The role includes site visits, testing support and helping with handover documentation, with hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Willingness to progress towards IEng/CEng status.
• Experience with LV distribution, lighting, earthing and protection systems.
• Ability to produce calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD and related software.

Responsabilités

• Take electrical design briefs from inception through to completion.
• Produce calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Assist with LV distribution and lighting design.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and third parties.
• Attend site visits and review installations against design intent.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
