Job summary

DPD Group in the Newcastle area is seeking a Class 1 (CE) driver to join a structured, reliability-focused team. You will manage multi-drop routes, maintain accurate digital records, and uphold a high standard of service while representing the DPD brand with a professional, flexible attitude.

The role operates Wednesday to Sunday with a 01:00–09:30 shift, offering weekend coverage and opportunities for career growth within a sustainability-driven company.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement.
• At least 6 months experience operating LGV C+E vehicles.
• Current UK CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• You’re reliable, safety-conscious and aligned with DPD values.
• Strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area.
• Ensure time-critical scheduling while upholding service standards.
• Maintain digital journey records and comply with tachograph regulations.
• Assist in loading/unloading of trailers and freight security.
• Represent the DPD brand with a flexible, solution-driven approach.
